What You Can Expect

Job Summary

This position will support the HRIS function in the areas of systems enhancements, configuration support, data management, data integrity, and issue resolution within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. This role serves as a technical partner to HR and leadership by managing system architecture, AI, and change management to meet evolving organizational needs.

Work Mode: 2 days WFH & 3 days WFO.
Location: Bangalore

How You'll Create Impact

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Take full process ownership to independently consult with members of HR and the business, evaluating their HRIS needs and delivering best-in-class, global, and scalable configuration solutions within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Assist in ensuring end to end system and process integration across the breadth of HR functional activities, downstream systems, and third-party integrations.
  • Test and approve system configuration changes for area of responsibility including Metadata Framework (MDF) objects, Foundation Objects, Business Rules, Workflows, and Manage Business Configuration (BCUI) alterations.
  • Support Role Based Permissions review and assignments.
  • Acts as change management champion for systems and processes.
  • Document policies, FDA validation, SOX controls, user manuals, and other training materials in the appropriate documentation system.
  • Ensures proper training and documentation prior to rollout of system changes and processes in Production.
  • Facilitate training and change management activities related to the use of SuccessFactors.
  • Evaluate use of HRIS system to meet changing business requirements, recommend enhancements and maintain oversight of SF Sync jobs and data field mappings.
  • Acts as an HRIS Subject Matter Expert / Power User to the HR team for Employee Central.
  • Manage multiple projects at once, supporting global stakeholders, while demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Assist in creating and submitting business cases, RFPs, and budgets for assigned HRIS projects.
  • Follows project management processes and methodologies to ensure HRIS projects are delivered on time and within budget, adhere to quality standards, and meet client expectations.
  • Responsible for project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet customer needs.
  • Regularly creates and distributes project status documents to team, stakeholders and upper management.
  • Drive the evaluation, configuration, and deployment of AI capabilities while ensuring compliance and data security.

What Makes You Stand Out

Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. KSAs)

  • Hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central configuration, including Standard/Custom Fields, Business Rules, Workflows, Role-Based Permissions, and Event Reasons.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate issues and resolutions and provide the appropriate level of support on a global basis, as well as supporting user training, enablement and adoption initiatives
  • Should have a proven track record of maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines, solve problems, and work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytic skills.
  • Must possess project management skills.

Your Background

Education/ Experience Requirements

  • B.A. or B.S., in Management Information Systems or IT preferred, plus a minimum of 5 years related experience in SAP SuccessFactors or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior knowledge of and practical application acting as a system administrator or consultant for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Technical experience must include the creation and manipulation of data from SFEC, MS Excel (pivot tables), MS Word, and other business software to prepare reports, summaries, and analyses.
  • Project Management experience desirable.
