MPS Group, Inc. is seeking multiple Field Technicians to join our team at the Cleveland Cliffs Facility located in Middletown, OH. These individuals are responsible for performing general labor tasks in an industrial environment, including loading and unloading equipment, lining trailers, operating equipment, and supporting site-specific systems and processes as required.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

- Load and unload equipment and materials for the job at arrival and departure of the job site.
- Prepare vacuum and waterblast hoses for industrial cleaning tasks.
- Enter tanks, pits and other confined spaces as required by the job.
- Inspect, use, and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE), including chemical protective suits, respirators, safety harnesses, and air monitoring devices.
- Utilize hand tools such as shovels, scrapers, rakes, and squeegees to perform industrial cleaning.
- Manually clean and de-sludge industrial systems, including paint pits, eliminators, dip tanks, process tanks, and conveyors.
- Follow all safety protocols and quality standards.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Stand, kneel, and bend for long periods of time and reach within 6" of the ground.
- Climb ladders and stairs without difficulty.
- Lift, carry and pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Work in extreme temperature conditions.
- Demonstrate manual dexterity sufficient for use of small hand tools, handling of small parts (ex: nuts/bolts), and working with hands at various positions (ex: overhead, front, low).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass a drug test and physical.
Preferred:
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Minimum of 3 months of industrial-related experience.
