This is a role within the Castrol organization, and the successful candidate will become part of the Castrol ring-fence. If you are part of the ring-fence, it is expected that your employment will move with Castrol to new ownership.

Join our Castrol Team and advance your career as a Data Operation Analyst CASTROL
The Data Operations Analyst is accountable for delivering master data operations across Business Units ensuring. Compliance with governance standards, Service Level Agreements, and internal controls. The role proactively manages data quality, operational risk, and partner expectations to support operational excellence and compliance. In addition, the role delivers a key fraud prevention control by performing independent call back validations for vendor and customer data changes, supported by structured case review, external verification, system validation, and timely partner concern of risks and exceptions.
In this role You will:
Own end-to-end master data maintenance (vendor, customer, material, pricing, finance) ensuring accuracy, completeness, and SLA compliance
Monitor and resolve operational issues proactively, identifying risks and driving timely resolutions
Conduct and document supplier and customer data research and validation
Perform verification calls with global partners using standard scripts and controls
Manage follow-ups via email and systems, maintaining clear and auditable records
Support business continuity and ensure uninterrupted data operations
Generate important metric and data quality reports (accuracy, consistency, completeness)
Act as a subject matter authority, driving process improvements and digitization
Participate in projects and transformation initiatives (data cleansing, enrichment, requirements)
Build strong relationships with partners and support data request processes
Maintain and update process documentation and procedures
Support audit activities and handle ad-hoc administrative tasks
Manage workload independently and ensure operational continuity
Representing the company professionally in external interactions
Collaborate as part of the wider data team
What You will need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance or business or supply chain
Strong professional fluency in English and German
Solid years’ experience in a client-service oriented function with experience in procurement, supply chain, data management, customer services or Finance
Sound experience using SAP or JDE, MDG, Salesforce and Power BI are strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Confident on the phone, able to quickly build rapport with external partners
Experience of working cross culturally and international business environment
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of partners, both verbally and in writing.
Engaging and collaborative teammate with an inclusive, cooperative, and supportive approach to working with others
Resilience and ability to operate effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment while maintaining control, focus, and quality standards
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively, even under pressure
Strong attention to detail with a consistent commitment to accuracy, quality, and excellence in work delivery
