Work Group Manager - Property, Buildings & Development

 

WSP has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Work Group Manager to lead our Property, Buildings & Development team in Tauranga. This leadership role focuses on driving team performance, delivering high-quality projects, and strengthening client relationships while contributing to business growth and strategy.

 

You will

 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing, collaborative team 

  • Oversee project delivery, financial performance, risk and quality outcomes 

  • Provide technical leadership and ensure best practice standards 

  • Build strong client relationships and identify new opportunities 

  • Lead bids, proposals and strategic pursuits 

  • Support operational performance and contribute to business planning

 

About you

 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification

  • 10+ years of experience in a related discipline, preferably in a consultancy environment

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience 

  • Strong project management and commercial acumen 

  • Proven experience with business development and identifying and pursuing new opportunities

  • Excellent stakeholder and client relationship engagement

  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach

  • A full, clean driver’s licence
