Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on HMNMH’s policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Problem solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Care of cardiovascular, trauma, stable pediatric patients
Licensure and Certification:
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS and PALS provider cards
- Certified in field of specialty (CCRN, PCCN, Trauma) preferred
- Telemetry course certification or equivalent experience required
Education:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year acute hospital experience required
- Cardio-Vascular (Interventional) experience preferred
- Trauma Care experience preferred
- Pediatrics experience preferred
