Warehouse Picker
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Picker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for selecting and preparing products for shipment while ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the fulfillment process.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately pick products based on customer orders using scanners and handheld devices.
Verify picked items for quality, quantity, and damage before shipment.
Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and walkie riders (where certified and applicable).
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
Follow established warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding warehouse position involving furniture and large boxed products. Candidates should be comfortable performing the following essential job functions:
Lift, move, push, or pull products weighing up to 150 pounds with assistance and/or equipment when necessary.
Frequently and repetitively lift products weighing 50 pounds or more throughout the workday.
Stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive physical movements for extended periods of time.
Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while meeting productivity and safety expectations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse, distribution center, or logistics experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
