- Based in Wollongong with flexible work arrangements, requiring attendance at the office two- three days per week
- Salary ranges from $113,574 to $125,720 pa. plus superannuation and annual leave loading
About the role
The Contract Management Coordinator role coordinates activities relating to procurement, contract development management and support to staff in the ASTP in order to provide an integrated, safe, reliable, customer focused and efficient service that meets the needs of stakeholders.
The role coordinates and drives Contract Management Plan meetings, providing tailored advice and guidance to strengthen support and partnership with prequalified service providers.
The role forms part of a broader team that provides an efficient, effective and safe transport service to students with disability for government and non-government schools across New South Wales.
Key accountabilities
- Support contract negotiation and ensure transport services align with government priorities and value-for-money outcomes.
- Monitor contract compliance, identify risks or performance issues, and recommend corrective action.
- Provide accurate data, reports and advice on contract performance, trends and risks.
- Build stakeholder relationships to support effective service delivery and process improvement.
- Respond to customer enquiries and support proposals, submissions and strategic reform activities for ASTP.

- Support stakeholders with complex, sensitive and demanding needs in a professional manner.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
