Automation QA Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Cypress for web applications.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements, contribute to test strategies, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across various environments.
• Ensure adherence to the test pyramid and best practices in test automation and software quality.
• Analyze test results, identify and document defects, and track them through resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous delivery pipelines.
• Act as a quality advocate and collaborate with multiple teams to drive improvements in processes, tools, and standards.
• Manage priorities and tasks efficiently in a demanding and fast-changing environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 plus years of experience
• Experience with test automation, ideally Cypress
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Github
• Experience with performance testing, including tools such as K6Proficient in JavaScriptAzure, 
• Kubernetes, C#, automation tools such as Selenium, or Appium.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with REST API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured).
• Familiarity with other testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium).
• Exposure to performance or load testing tools is a plus.
• Background in a DevOps or Continuous Testing environment.
