What You Can Expect

The Manager of Engineering is responsible for managing activities related to development and commercialization of new products and for sustaining efforts associated with existing product. The Engineering Manager supervises: Engineers, Packaging and Labeling Engineers and Specialists, CAD operators, Machinist and possible other job titles depending on the needs of the project.

Work Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days in office)

How You'll Create Impact

  • The incumbent is responsible for creating and maintaining the department’s budget.
  • Manages reports to complete product development projects and occasionally serves as the leader of a development project.
  • The manager assures that design requirements are fully defined and that proper verification and validation activates take place.

  • Technical problem solving - The jobholder is required to gather relevant, factual information and data in order to solve problems. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and applying solutions from acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents.

  • Thorough working knowledge of Design Controls, Zimmer research and compliance policies

Your Background

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from four-year college or university, and 6 to 8 years’ progressive engineering experience and on-the-job training in a high-precision machining environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
