About the Role In this role you’ll lead the end-to-end claims management function, ensuring efficient, accurate, and client-focused handling of insurance claims
This role is responsible for overseeing claims strategy, guiding the team in resolving complex cases, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurers, and stakeholders
It also ensures compliance with regulatory standards while continuously improving processes to enhance client experience and service delivery
Key responsibilities Ensure accurate assessment of all claims and that all viable options are pursued to secure payment from insurers
Coordinate effectively with adjusters, and other service providers to support timely claims resolution
Assist clients in completing claims requirements within agreed-upon turnaround times, ensuring a smooth process
Maintain full awareness of the status of all pending claims and clearly understand the next steps required
Ensure the claims monitoring system is regularly updated with real-time data for accurate reporting and analysis
Promptly report any major or potentially problematic claims to Senior Management with a recommended course of action
Conduct regular meetings with clients, adjusters, insurers, and internal teams to align on expectations and address issues
Recommend and execute enhancements to the claims management program to improve process efficiency and client outcomes
Provide timely and transparent feedback to clients regarding the status and outcomes of their claims
Identify and relay potential business leads to the Marketing Department based on insights from client servicing activities
Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess satisfaction with the Claims team’s performance and explore cross-selling opportunities
What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Business, Insurance, or related field preferred) Proven experience in claims management, with broker-side experience preferred Strong background in streamlining, organizing, and improving claims department operations to enhance efficiency and service delivery Solid experience in end-to-end claims handling, including evaluation, processing, negotiation, and settlement Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines Good understanding of business and management principles, as well as insurance practices Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership and team collaboration skills, with a focus on professionalism, accountability, and integrity What’s on offer At Gallagher, we believe in empowering our people to thrive both professionally and personally
