- Lead electrical design for low- and medium-voltage systems (480V–35kV), including power distribution, standby/emergency systems, and critical infrastructure.
- Serve as Engineer of Record or discipline lead on projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and technical excellence.
- Perform and oversee advanced electrical studies, including load flow, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash analysis.
- Drive design coordination across architecture, mechanical, process, and client stakeholders.
- Guide junior engineers and designers; review and mentor deliverables.
- Interface directly with clients to define scope, resolve challenges, and present solutions.
- Support construction administration: RFIs, submittals, site visits, and commissioning support.
- Contribute to standards development, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- BS in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) from an accredited institution
- 7–10+ years of relevant experience in building systems, electrical design
- Strong experience with power distribution systems, standby power, and critical systems
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and power analysis tools (e.g., SKM, ETAP)
- Demonstrated experience leading projects or major workstreams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with clients and cross-functional teams
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred, or actively pursuing licensure
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences facilities
- Experience with mission-critical or regulated environments
- Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, and applicable industry standards
