Role: Sales Administrator

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Sales Administrator role at MiQ is a balance of strategic thinking, operational discipline and efficiency, administrative excellence and effective communication. 

You’ll support the commercial team through:

  • Planning, management and coordination of key client and sales engagements

  • Ownership of Salesforce opportunity input and pipeline hygiene

  • Day-to-day commercial expense administration and budget tracking

This role is ideal for a motivated, detail oriented self-starter who enjoys working across stakeholders, owning processes end-to-end and making sure nothing falls through the cracks in the sales cycle.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Sales Administrator at MiQ you will be accountable for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Salesforce & Pipeline Hygiene

    • Create, update, and maintain Salesforce opportunities across the full sales cycle, ensuring accuracy and consistency at every stage

    • Partner closely with Sales Leads to reflect real-time budget changes, deal updates, and pipeline shifts in Salesforce

    • Flag discrepancies and proactively keep the pipeline clean so leadership always has an accurate view of the business

  • Sales Operations and Administration 

    • Manage expense reporting and submission in Workday on behalf of the broader sales team

    • Support day-to-day administrative needs of the sales org, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes

  • Internal Collaboration

    • Working with internal stakeholders, building relationships and working across differences to find solutions

  • Communication

    • Clear communication to internal teammates and stakeholders; flexing communication style to influence positive outcomes

    • Master MiQ product capabilities and stay on the latest industry trends to inform internal and external teams

  • Stakeholder management

    • Support multiple senior sales leaders with competing priorities

    • Ability to prioritize what matters most and pushback respectfully

    • Act as a hub between Sales, Finance, Operational teams

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Pipeline in Salesforce is >95% accurate at all times

  • Sales Team spends less time on admin and more time on selling

  • All client meeting and engagements are flawlessly executed

  • Expenses are submitted accurately,on time and within budget

  • Identify and execute 1-2 quarterly process improvements

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in Salesforce — comfort creating, updating, and managing opportunities is a plus

  • Familiarity with Workday or similar platforms for expense and administrative management is a plus

  • Proven ability to improve internal processes and share knowledge across internal/external stakeholders

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously through to completion

  • Eager to learn new systems and technologies

  • Involvement in a high energy work environment with ability to deliver on tight deadlines

  • Expertise with the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Alignment with MiQ's core values

NICE TO HAVE

  • Exposure to media, advertising and/or programmatic ecosystems

  • Experience supporting sales / revenue organizations

  • Basic understanding of sales cycles, forecasting and pipeline management

  • Strong Powerpoint and Excel skills

Pay Transparency

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Ontario, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Ontario and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $50,000- $60,000. This range does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.

Regardless of location, candidates can expect during the first few conversations with MiQ’s Talent team and Hiring Managers to share any approved budget and details on our competitive bonus and commission packages.
