Job Title: Catholic Pianist
Location: Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point Memorial Chapel, Building 100 E Street, Cherry Point, NC 28533
Type of Job: Part-time Position.
Schedule:
- Sundays: 0830 – 1030 for Divine Worship
- Additional support for non-routine Chapel programs/special services as determined.
- Accompany and provide musical direction for Roman Catholic Mass every Sunday and Holy Days of Obligation.
- Provide accompaniment and musical direction for special Catholic observances including Holy Days, Christmas, Lent, and Easter services.
- Provide musical support for the mid-week Roman Catholic choir rehearsal for a minimum of 60 minutes per week.
- Knowledge of Catholic music and religious service organizations.
- Minimum of two years experience as a pianist.
- Individual shall be able to play a wide variety of music from traditional church hymns to contemporary church music in order to support all Catholic services and the service portions of Mass.
