Are you passionate about creating safer workplaces and protecting the environment? We are seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Manager to lead the development and implementation of best-practice health, safety, and environmental policies across our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Coach, mentor and partner Site Managers and site leadership teams on strategies and activities to foster a positive safety culture.
Oversee, lead and manage site involvement in the HSE governance processes including HSE audits, incident management activities and reviews for continuous improvement.
Lead the implementation and maintenance of external HSE certifications.
Identify HSE legislative requirements and changes as it applies to their State and with the agreement and approval of management integrate them into the HSE Management System.
Accountable for ensuring the implementation of a rigorous incident investigation process, including appropriateness of corrective actions to prevent a recurrence and eliminate or otherwise minimize risk.
Provide HSE specialist advice and technical support as required.
Manage the HSE risk profile, risk assessment and risk management processes for the sites within Thailand.
Ensure all operational activities comply with applicable laws and regulations and Toll’s codes of conduct within the country.
Interpret and analyze Site HSE trends and provide written and oral reports to senior leaders.
What We’re Looking For
Proven 5+ years' experience in HSE leadership roles.
Extensive knowledge of HSE best practices, legislation, industry standards and management system standards (e.g. ISO45001 & ISO14001).
Experience in road transport safety.
Experience in ship repairs, dockyard safety, lifting technology would be an advantage.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to influence and foster a safety-first mindset across all levels of the organization.
Qualified Safety practitioner under the local regulatory requirements. TAPA-accredited FSR and TSR auditor (would be a plus).
