Role Purpose

As an Innovative Payments Expert, you will play a key role in shaping MOL Group’s modern payment landscape. You will drive the introduction of new payment technologies, optimize existing solutions, and collaborate with leading industry players to ensure secure, efficient and future-ready payment operations across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities

Drive payment innovation

• Support the development of MOL Group’s retail payments ecosystem across CEE, covering card payments, online solutions, digital wallets and emerging technologies

• Explore and introduce new payment technologies in cooperation with card schemes and partners

Work with key industry players

• Build strong relationships with Visa, Mastercard, banks, regulators and payment providers

• Act as a key contact point for vendors and internal stakeholders

Own key projects end-to-end

• Manage tendering, negotiation and contracting processes for payment services and solutions

• Drive implementation of instant payment solutions and real-time data integrations

Create impact through data & insights

• Monitor and report on payment costs and performance

• Identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making with business cases and analyses

Collaborate across the organization

• Work closely with Consumer Services, Mobility, Digital Factory and Treasury teams

• Support strategic and operational initiatives within Group Cash Management

Requirements

Experience

• 4–7 years of experience in banking, payments, treasury or fintech-related roles

• Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills (Power BI is a plus)

Skills & mindset

• Strong interest in digital payments, fintech and innovation

• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with end-to-end ownership

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• High level of precision and strong stakeholder management capabilities

Education & language

• Degree in Economics, Finance or a related field

• Fluent English
