Overview:  Lucero, the premier rooftop dining destination at Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As an experienced Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes in accordance with Lucero’s standards. This position focuses on dinner service, requiring expertise in evening culinary operations.   Responsibilities:  Prepare and cook menu items as directed by the Chef de Cuisine, ensuring consistency and quality. Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant. Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies for dinner service. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking. Execute precise knife skills, cooking techniques, and plating standards. Monitor food quality while cooking and ensure proper seasoning and presentation. Work efficiently to manage time and resources during busy dinner shifts. Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations. Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction. Qualifications  Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and cooking methods. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Present a calm demeanor and a positive attitude. Flexibility to work PM shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
