Product Marketing Lead

About the Role

The Product Marketing Lead (PML) for Services is the strategic owner of how Professional Services are positioned, packaged, and evolved within Travel Distribution. The role sits at the intersection of market reality, customer outcomes, and portfolio decisions — ensuring that existing service offerings land with impact and that the portfolio continuously adapts to market needs.

By creating customer‑centric, solution‑based value propositions, the PML supports Amadeus’ Move to Solutions strategy, enabling services that can be industrialised and reused across the organization.

The role operates in close partnership with GTM, Product, Delivery, and regional teams, feeding them with the market intelligence, commercial architecture, and proof-of-value arguments they need to execute.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial diagnosis and conversion Intelligence

  • Lead structured win/loss analysis across PS opportunities: where in the funnel do we lose, why, and what needs to change in the offer, the qualification logic, or the value argument.

  • Identify and close the gaps between what exists (catalog, conversation kit, sales assets) and what the market is actually responding to.

  • Synthesise signals from regions, customers, and internal stakeholders into actionable recommendations.

Portfolio evolution and offer roadmap

  • Own the offer roadmap: which services to evolve, which to enrich with new features, which to retire because they are high effort and low differentiation.

  • Identify and develop new service opportunities aligned with customer needs, regional signals, and the Move to Solutions strategy.

  • Ensure portfolio coherence and sharpness.

  • Contribute to early lifecycle phases including concept validation and business case development for new offers.

Market & competitive Intelligence

  • Maintain ongoing intelligence on competitive moves, customer needs evolution, and market trends relevant to Professional Services.

  • Track the emerging competitive landscape — what new entrants and established players are offering, where Amadeus has a durable advantage, where it is exposed.

  • Feed market signals upstream into product and PS roadmap decisions, not just downstream into sales decks.

Commercial enablement (in collaboration with GTM)

  • Provide GTM teams with the strategic inputs they need: clear positioning, differentiated value propositions, ROI arguments, and competitive framing.

  • Ensure sales assets and the conversation kit remain accurate, sharp, and grounded in real market feedback 

  • Support regional deployment through targeted positioning guidance, not generic rollouts.

Relevant Experience:

  • Proven experience in Professional Services, pre-sales, product marketing, or commercial roles with strong customer interaction.

  • Ability to build business cases using data and communicate insights effectively.

  • Experience managing a portfolio and making data-driven recommendations about product lifecycle decisions.

  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement across functions such as Product, Sales, and Delivery.

  • Familiarity with travel technology or service-based businesses is a plus.

  • This role requires valid and unrestricted work rights in Thailand.
