What makes this role exciting
This is a great opportunity for a HR professional who enjoys variety, responsibility and making visible impact across a global business. As an Associate HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in supporting employees and managers across Hungary, Poland and Germany.
You’ll gain hands‑on experience across the full employee lifecycle, alongside opportunities to work closely with experienced HR Business Partners across EMEA. This role offers involvement in HR data, reporting and insights, allowing you to contribute to decision‑making and continuous improvement.
You’ll be given the opportunity to own and deliver regional HR projects. From service awards and new‑hire initiatives to engagement activities and refreshed HR materials. You’ll develop strong project and stakeholder management skills while seeing your work have a direct impact on the employee experience.
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, proactive and eager to progress their HR career in a fast‑paced, supportive and global HR team.

Main responsibilities
Act as a trusted HR partner to employees across Hungary, Poland & Germany, providing practical, solutions‑focused advice and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Participate in pre‑boarding, onboarding and offboarding activities.
Support the full employment life cycle, including advising on HR policies & procedures and managing employee-related cases, ensuring consistency, fairness and compliance at all times.
Support the wider EMEA HR team with accurate HR reporting and data gathering, producing insights that support decision‑making and continuous improvement.
Take ownership of key EMEA HR projects, including service awards, new hire swag initiatives and other employee engagement initiatives that help foster a positive work environment and improve employee satisfaction
Stay up to date with Hungarian, Polish & German employment legislation, proactively flagging changes and advising on required actions.
Update and maintain HR presentations and materials, ensuring content reflects CloudPay’s branding, and company and legislative changes.
Experience needed for this role
In addition to previous HR generalist experience and Hungarian employment law knowledge, we’re excited to hear from candidates who bring some of the following:
Experience supporting employee relations casework in a fast‑paced environment.
Confidence working with HR data and reporting, including Excel or HR systems, and an interest in turning data into meaningful insights.
Experience coordinating or owning HR projects from start to finish, with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
Strong presentation skills, with experience updating or creating professional HR materials.
A proactive, curious mindset with a desire to learn, grow and take on increasing responsibility within HR.
