Must be able to work any shift - Day, Swing, Graveyard Shift
(6:00am-2:30pm ; 2:30pm-11:00PM ; 10:30pm-6:00am)
Summary
Delta Star Inc. is seeking a reliable and hands‑on Production Worker to support manufacturing operations across multiple processes. This role plays a critical part in transformer production by assisting with assembly, material handling, and general production tasks while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
As a Production Worker, you’ll support a variety of production activities, including core stacking, element assembly, and final assembly. You’ll assist higher‑level team members, operate tools and equipment, and help ensure production schedules are met safely and efficiently.
A Day in the Life
Your day may include assisting with assembly operations, setting up materials, supporting crane and rigging activities, and helping load or unload equipment such as ovens or vapor phase systems. You’ll use hand and power tools, help install components, prepare materials, and contribute to overall workflow across multiple production areas.
Specific Duties
Assist with loading/unloading ovens and vapor phase equipment
Support crane setup, rigging, and pre‑operation inspections
Assist with core stacking and assembly activities
Help install transformer components and insulation materials
Mix and apply epoxy as required
Support element assembly, including coil landing and lead installation
Cut cable, wrap insulation, and assist with lead preparation
Operate hydraulic, hand, and power tools
Assist with parts kitting and basic inventory control
Support tanking and final assembly operations
Operate man lifts and forklifts as required
Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas
Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum of 2 months of manufacturing or industrial experience (or equivalent training)
Ability to pass background check, drug test, and physical
Skills & Competencies
Ability to use basic hand and power tools
Basic understanding of manufacturing or electrical concepts preferred
Ability to follow instructions and procedures
Basic math skills
Ability to lift/move materials up to 50 lbs
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
