We are currently recruiting for a Site Pharmacist to join our Manufacturing Operations team. This role reports to the Value Stream Manager and is based in Malaysia.

The role is responsible for leading and developing a team of production operators to ensure the consistent delivery of safe, high-quality products in compliance with GMP standards and production targets. It plays a key role in driving operational performance, maintaining compliance, and supporting the site’s strategic objective of achieving zero accidents, defects, and waste through strong leadership and effective execution.

A day in the life
 

We’ll trust you with:

• Leading and coordinating a team of production operators to deliver daily production targets safely and in compliance with GMP standards.
• Monitoring shop floor performance, identifying issues in real time, and driving problem solving to ensure consistent output and quality.
• Developing team capability through coaching, performance management, and ensuring required training and discipline standards are met.
• Ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures, including participation in audits, investigations, and compliance activities.
• Driving continuous improvement and supporting the achievement of site goals, including zero accidents, defects, and waste, through structured processes and team engagement

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

• Possess a Type A Poison License

• Strong experience in manufacturing operations within pharmaceutical or FMCG environments, with understanding of GMP and compliance requirements.
• Proven people leadership skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a production setting.
• Knowledge of production processes, problem solving, and performance management systems to drive operational results.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
