Working closely with senior leadership and key cross‑functional partners, the Individual Wealth Product Strategy Manager identifies market opportunities and develops forward‑looking product strategies that enhance and evolve our Individual Wealth product offerings.Join one of the region’s top employers and be part of something that truly makes a difference. Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.  What you’ll do: Develop and implement strategic product plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth.  Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape for our products.  Prepare and present reports, proposals, and recommendations to senior leadership regarding product strategy.  Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including advisors, partners, and industry leaders, to support product development.  Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of product strategies and make adjustments as needed.  Incorporate Human Centric Design (HCD) practices to ensure that all product strategies and development efforts are aligned with the needs and experiences of our clients. As the HCD champion, you will partner across the organization, fostering collaboration and alignment, sharing best practices and resources to elevate the organization’s overall capabilities.  Support the creation of advanced marketing and sales materials, collaborating with the marketing and sales teams to develop compelling content that promotes our products and strengthens client and advisor relationships.   What you’ll bring: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.  Minimum of 5 years of experience in product strategy development, business development, or a related role within the financial services industry.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and critically about product development.  Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.  Proven track record of successfully managing and executing strategic product projects.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  Experience with Human Centric Design practices and a strong understanding of how to apply these principles to product strategy and development.   What’s in it for you: Career Growth: Regular learning sessions and development opportunities  Total Rewards: Incentive pay, annual salary reviews, employer-paid benefits and pension matching  Time Away: Competitive vacation plus one paid volunteer day each year Flexibility: Healthy work-life balance with employee wellness always top of mind, complemented by a “dress for your day” approach At Equitable, we’re committed to fair pay and an inclusive, accessible hiring experience.
