Group Overview
The TP ICAP Group is a world leading provider of market infrastructure.
Our purpose is to provide clients with access to global financial and commodities markets, improving price discovery, liquidity, and distribution of data, through responsible and innovative solutions.
Through our people and technology, we connect clients to superior liquidity and data solutions.
The Group is home to a stable of premium brands. Collectively, TP ICAP is the largest interdealer broker in the world by revenue, the number one Energy & Commodities broker in the world, the world’s leading provider of OTC data, and an award winning all-to-all trading platform.
Founded in London in 1866, the Group operates from more than 60 offices in 27 countries. We are 5,200 people strong. We work as one to achieve our vision of being the world’s most trusted, innovative, liquidity and data solutions specialist.
About Liquidnet
Liquidnet is a next-generation agency execution specialist. Powered by technology that helps drive institutional alpha, our trading and liquidity network intelligently and securely connects the world’s investors with the world’s investments.
Established in 1999 on the belief that there was a better way to trade, Liquidnet' journey began with a vision to create a platform that goes beyond traditional transactional models.
We wanted to build a community where traders could connect, collaborate, and execute trades with confidence. Over the years, we've grown from a vision into a thriving ecosystem that empowers the buy side in ways never before imagined.
We are committed to making trading more efficient, intelligent, and accessible. Our purpose guides every decision we make, from the tools we develop to the relationships we nurture with our Members.
About RealQ
RealQ is an institutional credit trading and data platform designed for targeted matching and controlled execution. Built for institutional credit trading where size, complexity, and information sensitivity require a more deliberate approach, RealQ connects actionable liquidity through curated data, targeted matching, and controlled execution.
We combine:
Neptune — the market’s most credible dealer‑sourced pre‑trade data set, with 34 tier‑one banks contributing real axes and inventory, and
Liquidnet — a proven institutional execution venue with over 500 buy‑side firms connected globally.
The platform enables market participants to engage across multiple execution protocols, supporting more controlled and targeted interaction and aligning execution to trade size, market conditions and information sensitivity.
By integrating dealer intent with discreet, institutional execution protocols, our platform delivers protected transparency: allowing genuine counterparties to find each other efficiently without information leakage. We are purpose‑built for meaningful trades, not volume for volume’s sake — offering an alternative to signal driven, fragmented liquidity models prevalent across other electronic venues.
Role Overview
RealQ is seeking a high-impact sales leader to drive buy-side adoption of our platform. This individual will be responsible for driving the growth, adoption, and profitability of core trading protocols across the US institutional landscape. This remote role, based in Chicago, demands a highly hands-on leader responsible for the entire commercial lifecycle of our core protocols—from prospecting and relationship management to the project management of client onboarding and go-live. You will hold revenue target accountability, directly translating client conversations and technical connectivity into measurable revenue growth and market share capture.
Role Responsibilities
Direct Revenue Generation: Drive top-line revenue growth by actively prospecting and onboarding new Buy Side clients, working toward group targets.
Hands-On Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted, consultative relationships with senior clients, ensuring high retention and deep understanding of evolving needs and the competitive landscape.
Platform Adoption & Expansion: Expand on platform adoption by pitching to new internal teams at existing clients and directly managing client meetings, platform reviews, usage reporting, and presentations on new functionality.
End-to-End Onboarding Leadership: Lead all aspects of new client and data feed onboarding, project-managing connectivity initiatives from inception through pre-production testing to successful go-live, collaborating closely with support teams.
Internal & External Advocacy: Act as a client advocate internally, collaborating directly with product and technology teams to align platform enhancements with client feedback and drive platform data growth by onboarding new Sell Side data streams.
Experience / Competences
Essential
5-10+ years in financial services, with a deep background in electronic trading, market structure, or institutional sales and trading that includes direct, hands-on onboarding experience.
Mastery of fixed income, rates, or credit asset classes and a proven track record of managing complex trading protocols like RFQ, CLOB, or automated execution.
Demonstrated success of converting client engagement into measurable, attributable revenue growth (e.g., managing specific revenue targets).
Exceptional ability to manage senior external relationships while concurrently leading detailed internal project management for connectivity and integration.
Desired
· Possess an aptitude for technology and be comfortable using multiple systems
· Comfort with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Salesforce, Bloomberg, or market data tools is a plus.
· Proficient use of AI tools.
