Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Emergency at Oakleaf in Jacksonville, FL. This is a part-time opportunity.

Registered Nurse Job Responsibilities:
○ Provide care to patients with medical and emergent conditions
○ Educate patients and families on diagnoses and care plans
○ Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
○ Coordinate care with ancillary services
○ Serve as a patient advocate
○ Participate in unit initiatives and meetings

Registered Nurse Experience:
○ 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience (required)
○ Telemetry Experience (required)
○ Emergency Department Experience (preferred)
○ Hospital Experience (required)

Registered Nurse Education & Credential Requirements:
○ Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
○ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
○ Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
○ Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
○ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
○ CEN, TNCC, NIHSS (preferred)

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
*Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
