Job Description

The Senior Technical Recruiter leads our technical talent acquisition efforts. This role is critical to supporting our growth by identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier IT professionals across all technical disciplines. They are responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment efforts such as sourcing, screening, interview management, creating job offers, market analysis to identify talent pools, understanding compliance/regulatory employment information, and engaging top talent. They implement recruitment initiatives, build candidate pipelines, and provide support to hiring managers to ensure a seamless and efficient hiring process The recruiter has a strong understanding of technology roles, proven sourcing strategies, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with both candidates and hiring managers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What you will do here:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Strategy

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all technical IT positions across SwitchThink Solutions, including software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data analytics, cloud engineering, and support roles
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies utilizing job boards, social media, professional networks, employee referrals, and direct outreach to build robust talent pipelines
  • Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand technical requirements, team dynamics, and hiring priorities
  • Create compelling job postings that accurately reflect role requirements and attract qualified candidates
  • Proactively build talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs to reduce time-to-fill
  • Ensure regular communication about hiring progress, plans and support needed with the hiring manager

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement

  • Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, technical communities, and other specialized platforms to identify passive and active candidates
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess technical qualifications, cultural fit, and career motivations
  • Coordinate and schedule technical interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Conduct reference checks and background verifications in accordance with company policy
  • Negotiate offers, including compensation packages, start dates, and employment terms

Stakeholder Collaboration & Relationship Management

  • Build strong partnerships with IT leadership and hiring managers to align recruitment strategies with business objectives
  • Provide consultative guidance on market conditions, salary benchmarks, and talent availability
  • Educate hiring teams on effective interviewing techniques and candidate evaluation best practices
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on recruitment trends, competitive intelligence, and talent market dynamics

Candidate Experience & Employer Branding

  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding
  • Represent SwitchThink Solutions at job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to build brand awareness
  • Develop relationships with universities, coding bootcamps, and professional organizations to expand talent networks
  • Promote SwitchThink Solutions' employer value proposition and company culture to prospective candidates

Recruitment Operations & Metrics

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source of hire, and candidate quality
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations throughout the hiring process
  • Continuously refine recruitment processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Market Intelligence & Innovation

  • Stay current on IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and in-demand skill sets
  • Monitor competitive hiring practices and salary trends to ensure SwitchThink Solutions remains competitive
  • Recommend and implement new recruitment tools, technologies, and best practices
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of recruitment policies and procedures.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience Required required.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle experience managing IT technical recruiting across software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, AND advising leadership on market dynamics, either in-house or with a staffing agency required.
  • 1+ years experience with recruitment marketing and employer branding initiative preferred.
  • Experience with IT managed services (e.g. hosting, cloud, IaaS, etc), required.
  • Demonstrated success in technical recruiting for a variety of technical roles including across software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, AND advising leadership on market dynamics required.
  • Strong understanding of technical terminology, programming languages, frameworks, and IT infrastructure concepts required.
  • Expertise leveraging applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter.) required.
  • Excellent sourcing skills with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates Advanced Required required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels required.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously required.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently required.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps tools, and modern development methodologies preferred.
  • Professional certification in recruitment or human resources (AIRS, PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
