Dental Hygienist  •  Part-time Hours  • Beautiful, Established Practice
 
 

 

Pay: starting at $50+/hour based on skills/experience!

Schedule: Monday - Wednesdays 7:45am- 5pm (Open to 2 or 3 days)

 

At Smile Moore Dentistry, we have served the Buford and surrounding areas for over 30 years! Our top priorities are patient comfort and positive outcomes, recognizing that visiting the dentist can be intimidating.

What are the must haves to join the team?

  • Ability to empathize and provide top-notch, positive, patient care while connecting with
    our diverse patient base.
  • A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license.
  • CPR certification.
  • Certification in local anesthesia administration.

 

 

 

 


Responsibilities

 

 

 

 

Your Impact as a Dental Hygienist
 
As a vital clinical partner, you will elevate patient health by providing preventive care, education, and a seamless clinical experience. Your responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing and updating X‑rays, chart notes, and maintaining related equipment
  • Recording detailed clinical narratives, probing depths, and documentation for claims
  • Maintaining strict OSHA and HIPAA compliance
  • Sterilizing instruments and managing hygiene supplies
  • Performing Prophylaxis and Scaling & Root Planing
  • Applying fluoride varnish and placing sealants
  • Educating patients on oral health and the mouth‑body connection
  • Supporting patient and team relations with professionalism and empathy
  • Ensuring a safe, welcoming, and organized clinical environment
