Registered Nurse – PACU in Rochester, New York. Travel assignment starting 07/06/2026 for multiple weeks, 4x10-hour days/nights. Weekly pay $1,950–$2,034 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Perioperative/PACU care within a short-term acute care, teaching hospital setting. EPIC charting experience required; facility details include Phase I & II Recovery with a 3:1 patient ratio on days and nights.

Responsibilities
- Provide Phase I & II PACU recovery care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics following a variety of procedures (endoscopic/laparoscopic, general, orthopedic including spine and total joints)
- Monitor, assess, and manage post-anesthesia patients; maintain airway as needed; administer and titrate analgesia and sedation per protocol
- Perform phlebotomy and IV start/maintenance; ensure all line care aligns with unit standards
- Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation; collaborate with IV team, PT, RT, interpreters, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and transportation
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, respond to rapid responses, and participate in call coverage as required
- Work within a 3:1 patient ratio on days and nights; float to other PACU/Perioperative areas as needed
Requirements
- NY state RN license in hand (required to submit)
- EPIC charting experience required
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required
- Core clinical skills: Phase I PACU and Phase II recovery care; phlebotomy and IV placement mandatory
- Ability to work in a PACU environment; willingness to float; able to handle varied perioperative case types
- Orientation: 16 hours prior to start
