Description

The EHS Manager is responsible for developing and delivering key EHS engagement programs which leverage and drive engagement, promote inclusion, ownership and overall support for delivering safety and sustainability workplans.

Working closely with the EHS Director of Employee Engagement and other stakeholders, the individual will create and deliver tactical and strategic initiatives informed by our EHS strategy, data trends, observances and an overall desire to ensure we are proactively elevating actions to improve safety and sustainability protection for everyone, everywhere, every day. Key focus areas will include;

•EHS behavioral safety and sustainability programs
•EHS communications 
•Safety and sustainability recognition programs
•Development and delivery of safety and sustainability campaigns and programs
•Supporting activities which elevate engagement across the EHS Department
•Exploring and developing new and innovative ways to increase EHS engagement across the organization

This role will suit organized individuals who are confident maintaining progress across planned workstreams, whilst also remaining agile to explore and exploit emerging opportunities.


Experience of developing and delivering, either as the lead or collaboratively, employee engagement and communication programs, with experience gained in all or several stages of the program journey from ideation, planning, stakeholder consultation and management, creative solution development, delivery and performance analytics.
Autonomous - a confident planner and an outcome focused individual who can develop and progress ideas and proactively manage their workload to consistently achieve excellence in execution.
Growth mindset - confident to (and to be) challenge to seek and grow new opportunities to push the boundaries of employee engagement and communications.
Stakeholder centric - putting the audience, collectively and individually at the heart of everything they do, ensuring processes, communications and solutions maximize engagement and ownership. Key considerations will include communication channel, language, I,D&E and employee segment
Structured and organized - proficient in project planning and organization, maintaining a clear structure of information to support ease of management and future reference.
Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e. PowerPoint, Forms, Excel), AI tools, Smartsheet or similar online tools
Strong organizational, presentation, project management and analysis skills. Able to use insights to make informed decisions to progress workplans
Stakeholder, business, process and employee focused. Demonstrated team player, open to feedback, and passionate about collaborating with a team to develop and adapt approaches that work within the context of our business and culture.

Confident in facilitating and managing meetings and ideation sessions, leveraging communication and influencing skills to promote a collaborative and forward thinking approach

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field. 
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a EHS operational role, with experience of leveraging communications, marketing or employee engagement activities to improve performance.
Travel      5-10%

 Pay Range:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,750.00 to $132,650.00Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
