We’re looking for our next Senior Collection Support Specialist. Could It Be You?
We are seeking a Senior Collection Support Specialist to join the Risk team. You will be reporting to the Manager, Special Collections and be part of the team that oversees Insolvency Management (Bankruptcies, Consumer Proposals, etc.), Estates, Early Out Collections, Debt Sales and other Special Collection activities and play an important role in maximizing Flexiti’s recoveries! This position requires high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and enjoys processes and routine activities.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support the Manager, Special Collections on a day-to-day basis.
Manage the day-to-day relationship with Flexiti’s third-party vendors, such as First Canadian Title (FCT) and PRA Group Canada (PRA), to monitor and process weekly/monthly remits and recoveries.
Oversee the Estates Program by working with executors and next of kin to facilitate the recovery of estate accounts in a sensitive manner. Leverage FreshDesk to ensure final account documentation is received and accounts are coded accurately.
Maintain financial oversight of ongoing debt sale obligations, such as processing buy-backs, direct payments, charge-off reviews, and manual recalls.
Accurately classify and note accounts for ease of tracking and reporting for specific campaigns and CAP-processed accounts.
Collaborate with the team to keep SOPs, compliance reporting, and policies up to date.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Have a proven background dealing with attention to detail and multi-tasking
Possess organizational skills to organize workload
Have good oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with staff, inspectors, creditors, and OSB
Demonstrate analytical skills to analyze account activities
Exhibit interpersonal skills to deal with team members and staff
Have excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Are familiar with insolvency processes and requirements (as an asset)
Have experience working with insolvency software (as an asset)
Compensation Information:
Base salary range: $55,000 - $65,000
The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
