The opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Product Marketing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll oversee the related factory quotations and be responsible for multi-factory bid coordination with the right competitive pricing, costing and all the related operational factors. You will be at an operational level, it covers the whole sales funnel from a supply side standpoint, from bid and proposal/tendering stage to price setting with the objective of speeding up the decision-making process and price decisions. This role is also instrumental for cross-factory bid and/or cross-hub tenders. The Product Marketing Team Specialist is reporting to product marketing manager of the factory.
How you’ll make an impact
Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new and existing products, including product positioning, messaging, and competitive analysis.
Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape, translating insights into actionable product and marketing recommendations.
Create compelling technical marketing content, including datasheets, white papers, presentations, application notes, and website content.
Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, sales, and corporate marketing teams to ensure product readiness and effective market communication.
Provide technical sales support and training to sales teams and partners, enabling them to effectively communicate product value propositions.
Represent Hitachi at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements, demonstrating product capabilities and gathering customer and market feedback.
Monitor and analyze product performance in the market, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimizing marketing initiatives.
Contribute to product roadmap development and strategic planning by leveraging market intelligence, customer insights, and industry trends.
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Engineering, Machine Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or product management within a technology-focused industry.
Proven experience developing and executing successful product launch strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and compelling technical and marketing materials.
Experience utilizing market analysis tools and methodologies to support business and product decisions.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
Knowledge of transformers and related power industry technologies is considered an asset.
