Registered Nurse – Med Surg/Tele in Plattsburgh, NY. Start date 06/11/2026 for a 4-week travel assignment on a 3x12 Night shift within a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care on Med/Surg Telemetry units following RN standards, including assessments, vital signs, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition; manage IV pumps, bladder scans, glucose monitoring, and routine specimen collection.
- Document all care in the EPIC electronic medical record; ensure accurate and timely charting and coding compliance.
- Collaborate with the ED Hold/Resource Float team and nursing leadership to coordinate patient flow and safe transitions of care.
- Participate in unit-based protocols, discharge planning, and patient/family education; support other Tele/Med Surg units as assigned.
- Work within unit staffing patterns (R5–R7) and adapt to patient acuity; maintain patient safety and quality standards.

Requirements
- Current RN license on file at time of submission (New York)
- BLS certification required; NIHSS will be required prior to starting
- Epic experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; 1 year in Med Surg or Tele
- Nursing degree (RN) required
- Ability to work in a hospital Med/Surg Tele setting and float to other Tele units as needed
- CMSRN certification is preferred
