About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Business Partner, People & Culture, ANZ to join our team and play a key role in partnering with leaders to deliver people strategies that support business performance, engagement, and growth.
Based in Sydney | Melbourne, in a hybrid work environment, this is an exciting opportunity for a proactive People & Culture professional who thrives in a fast-paced, professional services environment and is passionate about building trusted relationships, leading teams, and driving positive people outcomes.
As a trusted advisor to business leaders, you’ll provide strategic and operational HR support across a broad range of people initiatives. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to influence decision-making, strengthen organisational capability, and foster a high-performing and collaborative culture.
Taking a lead role, you’ll support a team while partnering across the business to deliver practical, commercially focused HR solutions.
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Partner with leaders to provide strategic and operational HR advice across the employee lifecycle
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and establish trusted client networks across the business
- Lead, coach, and develop direct reports to achieve high performance and professional growth
- Support workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, and organisational development initiatives
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters and people-related risk management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of people strategies aligned to business objectives
- Drive a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture
About You
Suitable applicants will be/have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or Management Administration (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a generalist People & Culture / HR role, ideally within a professional services environment
- Demonstrated ability to consistently build and maintain trusted internal client relationships
- Proven experience managing and developing direct reports
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels of an organisation
- A collaborative and solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery
