Your work will shape software quality from the very beginning, creating better experiences for clients and driving the future of commerce.
What you’ll own
- Drive software quality from the earliest stages of development by creating automated tests that identify issues before they reach production.
- Build and enhance automated testing frameworks that improve reliability, increase efficiency and enable continuous delivery of high quality software.
- Influence code quality by identifying opportunities to improve performance, maintainability and testability across applications.
- Create automated validation for application programming interfaces (APIs), Representational State Transfer (REST) services and other non user interface components to strengthen end to end quality.
- Strengthen continuous integration by integrating automated test suites that deliver fast feedback and accelerate software delivery.
- Analyze performance, load, security and service virtualization test results to improve system resilience, scalability and compliance.
- Partner with developers, business teams and quality professionals to create effective testing strategies that deliver reliable business outcomes.
- Continuously grow your technical expertise while contributing ideas that improve automation practices, engineering quality and team success.
What you bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems or another technical discipline. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Experience, or a strong foundation, in software development and automated testing within the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, Perl, Groovy, Oracle or SQL.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery approaches, including Scrum, Kanban, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
- Understanding of continuous integration practices and automated testing tools across unit, application programming interface (API), security or performance testing.
- A curious mindset with a passion for learning, improving software quality and solving technical challenges.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills that enable you to build trusted relationships and contribute to team success.
It’s a bonus if you have
- Experience developing automated testing strategies across multiple frameworks and technology environments.
- A Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems or another technical discipline.
- Hands on experience with continuous integration tools and automation frameworks that enable continuous testing and software delivery.
