About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation and Incentives Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of sales compensation and incentive programs, and serves as a primary point of contact for sellers and sales leaders seeking guidance on their earnings.
This position works cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Payroll to ensure data integrity, resolve discrepancies, and maintain seller trust in the compensation process. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly across all levels of the organization, and takes ownership of both the quality of their work and the relationships built in doing it.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate, validate, and process commission and incentive payments each cycle, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery in accordance with company policies and plan rules
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, adjustments, and exceptions related to commission payments, knowing when to work through issues independently and when to escalate
- Serve as a direct resource for sales reps and leaders on comp-related inquiries, providing clear and timely responses and maintaining a high standard of responsiveness
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Payroll to maintain alignment on plan details, data inputs, and payment timelines
- Support the administration and rollout of new and existing compensation plans and incentive structures
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements as tools and workflows continue to evolve
- Maintain accurate records of compensation transactions, adjustments, and supporting documentation across all active programs
- Build and maintain reports and tracking tools to support visibility into compensation program performance and payment trends
- Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests related to incentive programs, quota attainment, and payout summaries
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales compensation, revenue operations, finance, payroll, or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and other sales operations tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical skill, problem solving and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent tools.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to support and interact with cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced in payroll, SaaS, or financial services industries
- Experience working with commission or incentive compensation tools
- Experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
- Background in change management or organizational development
Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the Director of Revenue Operations – Policies, Commissions, and Incentives.
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
