Job Summary


Acrisure is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our growing team in Janesville, WI. This role is ideal for individuals early in their careers who are interested in developing skills in billing, finance, or insurance operations. You’ll gain hands-on experience processing transactions, resolving discrepancies, and supporting customer inquiries, all while building a strong foundation for future growth.

Responsibilities


Respond to inbound and outbound customer inquiries related to billing and payments
Process billing statements, adjustments, cancellations, and plan changes
Accurately enter and maintain data in company systems
Research and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner
Assist with escalated or complex billing inquiries as needed
Perform general administrative and clerical support tasks
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures 

Requirements


High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of customer service, administrative, or related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
Basic math and problem-solving abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Primarily sedentary work involving extended periods of sitting and computer use
Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and navigating systems
Ability to communicate clearly via phone and electronic channels
Requires the ability to remain focused in a high-volume call environment

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
