The Role
Senior Manager — Strategic Workforce Planning Lead
This role sits within the newly established Strategic Workforce Planning function and is responsible for driving the planning process within an assigned market or region. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Workforce Planning, the Senior Manager will run the end-to-end planning cycle - from demand and supply analysis through to stakeholder engagement and plan activation - working closely with delivery heads and revenue owners to produce a workforce plan that market leadership can act on. The right candidate brings hands-on workforce planning experience in a consulting or IT services context, strong facilitation skills, and the commercial grounding to translate workforce data into decisions rather than reports.
Who You Are
Role Overview
Senior individual contributor role responsible for designing and executing enterprise workforce planning strategies.
Transforms business and revenue strategy into actionable workforce plans (hiring, skills, demand).
Part of a new strategic function, contributing to the implementation of a scalable workforce planning model.
Key Responsibilities
- Design workforce planning frameworks (skills, roles, demand)
- Develop hiring, reskilling, and forecast models
- Partner with GTM, Practice, L&D, and TA
- Lead implementation of planning model
- Provide data-driven workforce insights
- Support adoption across business units
Required
- + 12 years of Experience in Strategic Workforce Planning
- Workforce demand forecasting & hiring/reskilling strategies
- Strong stakeholder management
- Analytical mindset
Preferred
- Enterprise/large-scale environments
- Workforce planning tools (e.g., Workday Adaptive)
- Consulting / HR strategy background

ESSENTIAL
Prior Experience
Workforce planning or workforce management experience in a consulting, professional services, or IT services environment, with hands-on ownership of planning processes at market or business unit level.
Stakeholder Management
Ability to engage delivery heads, account leaders, and HR partners in structured planning conversations — comfortable facilitating workshops and managing competing priorities across stakeholders.
Planning Rigour
Able to run a structured demand-supply analysis, identify workforce gaps, and translate findings into clear recommendations for market leadership.
Communication
Clear written and verbal communication — able to present workforce findings in a concise, commercially grounded format to senior stakeholders.
Consulting Skills
Capable of advising and preparing business leaders for workforce planning conversations — bringing them up to speed on methodology, process, and the commercial implications of workforce decisions.
