What You Will Do:
- Plan & manage ODOT survey projects from scope to delivery, overseeing creation, review & finalization of survey documents related to project.
- Collect & import raw field data, process, QA/QC, & deliver via .dgn basemap files for design staff use.
- Assist field crews on as needed basis. (Topographic survey, right-of-way/boundary surveys, control surveys, and right-of-way staking.)
- Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to ensure survey details/documents meet client needs and project objectives.
- Keep up to date on new trends in Land Surveying field.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Licensure: Current registration as professional surveyor pursuant to section 4733.02 of Ohio Revised Code; valid driver's license. & Experience: 12 mos. exp. as Surveyor 2, 85562 OR 12 mos. exp. in responsible charge of survey projects.

All bargaining unit and exempt new hires to ODOT must serve a one year probationary period.
This position is overtime eligible based on FLSA Standards.
If this position is filled internally, the wage rate will be determined in accordance with the contract.
The final applicant accepted for this position will be required to submit to urinalysis prior to appointment to test for illegal drug use. An applicant with a positive test result will not be offered employment, per section 3719.01 & 3719.41 of Ohio revised code.
