Job Description
Confirm coverage and manage claims and suits brought against accounts. Interpret, analyze, and resolve coverage issues. Select and appoint legal counsel. Manage litigation with outside counsel and accounts. Manage litigation costs, incl. fees and expenses. Post timely and accurate Loss and ALE reserves. Resolve cases via dismissal, settlement or trial. Negotiate case resolutions. Provide service to insureds and assist in sales and account retention efforts. Conduct claim audits of self-insured accounts and TPAs. Perform other activities required of a claims professional.
