Job Description
Position: Restaurant Supervisor
Department: Restaurant
Purpose: Ensure proper guest service through continuous training of staff and coordination with management and staff.
Reports to: Restaurant Manager
Essential Functions:
Ensure all stations and knowledge of menus required for proper services are ready.
Stations set-up and breakdown; supervised side duties being done.
Must have full familiarity with menus.
Must have full knowledge of beverages offered.
Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws and certified T.I.P.S.
Greeting the guests.
Utilizing the "pivot point" system.
Taking the beverage order.
Informing guests of daily specials.
Ringing checks for alcoholic beverages.
Service to the guests
Perform any other duties as assigned by restaurant manager

Computer and printer, typewriter, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine, file folders, filing cabinet, facsimile machine
Working Environment:
Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel.
Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.
Exposure to food items and beverages.
