Job Description
Location: McLean, VA, on government worksite
- Process standard and complex HR transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
- Support resolution of employee, manager, and candidate inquiries by providing clear, compliant guidance.
- Conduct ongoing research across HR topics, including policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to process improvements in HR service delivery.
- Draft and distribute HR-related communications, including memoranda, notices, announcements, and news releases.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity in workforce communications.
- Detail-Oriented & Process-Driven – Ensures HR transactions and documentation meet compliance standards.
- Responsive & Service-Focused – Provides timely, professional support across the workforce.
- Organized & Resourceful – Efficiently manages multiple HR tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Clear Communicator & Collaborative – Produces effective HR messaging and works seamlessly with leadership and staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 0–15+ years of experience in HR operations, employee relations, or HR service delivery (multi-discipline levels available).
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Excellent organizational, research, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting federal HR operations or IC/DoD workforce management.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and HR transaction processing tools.
