Dental Office Coordinator
Location: Worthington, MN 56187 | Full-time
AppleWhite Dental of Worthington has an immediate opening for an experienced Dental Office Coordinator. Dental insurance knowledge is a plus! The daily job duties for this position will include greeting and checking out patients, treatment planning, submitting preauthorization's, and more.
Job Duties:
- Greet current or prospective patients in person or over the phone
- Schedule appointments for dentists and hygienists
- Monitor schedules to ensure the provider stays on schedule
- Schedule emergency appointments as necessary per day
- Maintain a call list to assist filling in gaps in hygiene or dentist schedules
- Prepare treatment plans and quote patients for services rendered or future service appointments
- Verify insurance and enter patient insurance information into the database
- Work with insurance companies to receive payments for services rendered
- Process paperwork and enter data into database
- Handle accounts receivable including making deposits
- Manage petty cash account
- Assist with the collection process
- Maintain patient files and document as needed
- Coordinate and schedule in-service workshops or meetings
- Process mail, UPS or coordinate or receive lab requests as necessary
- Assist with end of day
This practice is a fast-paced, patient-centric dental practice focused on improving the dental health of our patients. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years dental office experience, insurance knowledge, and Eaglesoft dental software proficiency.
