Our organization is a real estate company, acting as long-term investor, developer, fund manager, and property manager. We continuously expand our portfolio, which also includes data centre (DC) projects.
Goodman’s business is growing rapidly. As a result, there is an increased need to provide increased visibility on risk exposure across the teams of continental Europe.
Today, we are looking for a Risk Manager for Continental Europe (CE), who will play a central role in strengthening and coordinating the organisation’s CE’s approach to risk management, while ensuring regulatory compliance to risk requirements and effective stakeholder engagement.
The main responsibilities are the following:
Risk Framework Governance
- Act as owner and ambassador of the CE risk policy and risk register framework.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and central coordinator for risk register management across development and operational teams.
- Promote a strong risk culture and consistent risk management practices throughout the organization.
AIFM Risk Management
- Collect, validate, and monitor AIFM-specific risk metrics and KPIs.
- Prepare comprehensive AIFM Risk Reports in support of the AIFM Conducting Officer for Risk.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with CSSF Circular 18/698 and related regulatory requirements.
ICT Risk Management
- Coordinate Luxembourg IT-related regulatory filings and support the implementation of the ICT risk framework.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of ICT risk management policies, procedures, and registers.
- Respond to ad hoc regulatory requests and supervisory inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with Group IT teams on IT risk assessments, reporting, and risk mitigation initiatives.
Enterprise Risk Management
- Collect, analyse, and consolidate data to maintain and enhance the CE enterprise risk register.
- Design and implement robust risk management processes and governance practices.
- Develop insightful dashboards and reporting tools to enhance transparency of risk exposure, assessments, and mitigation activities.
In this role, you will report to the Lead Risk, Legal & Compliance.
Do you recognize yourself?
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant risk or audit role
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Business Automation Finance, Risk Management, …
- Familiar with CSSF 18/698 and AIFM directive
- Experience in real estate or infrastructure industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficient stakeholder management
- Strong governance and documentation skills
- Fluent in English.
