Team Leader / Partnership Director, Solomon Islands Australia Health Partnership
Job Description
Program Background
The Solomon Islands Australia Partnership Health (SIAPH) supports equitable access to quality health services for all Solomon Islanders. The program operates in alignment with the National Health Strategic Plan (NHSP) and aims for Australia to be a recognised and valued health partner of the Solomon Islands Government (SIG).
The program's two end-of-program outcomes are:
· EOPO1: Provincial health departments and select health facilities deliver increased, higher quality and more equitable health service packages.
· EOPO2: MHMS policy, leadership and management capacity is strengthened in support of improved health service delivery.
The program prioritises provincial-level service delivery, GEDSI, climate resilience, and locally-led development. It provides provincial grants to all provinces, supports a Women in Health Leadership Awards initiative, and maintains flexibility to respond to emerging priorities and bilateral agreements.
