
Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Selection of Instruments, PLC, Communication system.
- Preparation of loop drawings, junction box drawings, wiring and schematic diagrams, Instrument layout plans.
- Creation of instrument specification sheets, Instrument Data Sheets, Instrument Index, instrument hook ups, Instrument bill of materials.
- Floating RFQ's and Technical Bid Evaluation
- Creation of Control wiring schedule, Cable routing, Hookup drawings
- Perform Control valve sizing and selection
- Resolve construction feedback issues relating to issued deliverables.
- Can lead the project independently

Work Experience
- Familiarity with instrumentation and process control design
- Very strong knowledge in Selection of Instruments, Valve sizing, SIL classification, Floating RFQ's and Technical bid evaluation
- Coordinate with Piping/Mechanical designer for Instrument/Piping interface
- Prepare and review Hook up drawings, instrument data sheets, Instrument layout etc
- Review vendor drawings and other documents and integrate into design.
- Hazop Study will be an added advantages
- Tools : AutoCAD, MS Office, SPI In tool(Added Advantage)
- Working Knowledge of codes and standards NEC, NFPA70, IEC, IEEE, UL, AS.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Instrumentation and Control engineering
- 6-10 years experience
