Customer Experience Rep – Reinders

Our Customer Experience Representatives are knowledgeable, energetic, and consistently deliver the best overall customer experience. In this role, you will support customers across both the showroom and order fulfillment process while partnering with sales and operations teams.

This position supports Reinders, a SiteOne company, and serves commercial and residential customers in the green industry. To succeed, you must be passionate, customer-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 


Position Overview

  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all customers by building strong relationships and ensuring a positive experience
 
  • Assist customers with questions, product selection, and order placement—in person, over the phone, and through electronic channels
 
  • Accurately enter and manage sales orders, including pricing, order status, and customer information
 
  • Coordinate order fulfillment, including pulling, picking, staging, and preparing orders for pickup or delivery
 
  • Monitor and communicate inventory levels, shipment status, and delivery timelines to customers
 
  • Follow up on quotes and orders to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction
 
  • Resolve customer concerns, including order discrepancies, billing issues, and product questions
 
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow sales through upselling, cross-selling, and promoting products, services, and seasonal offerings
 
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of product lines to provide recommendations and alternatives to customers
 
  • Assist with merchandising, showroom organization, and inventory management, including seasonal transitions
 
  • Partner with branch leadership and cross-functional teams to improve processes and adopt new technologies
 
  • Maintain a safe working environment while assisting with warehouse and showroom activities

 


Skills We Are Seeking

What we are looking for:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or wholesale environment
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
  • Excellent communication skills (in-person and phone) and attention to detail
  • Ability to think quickly, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Basic math skills and comfort working with order entry and inventory systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems and technologies
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and accountable with a positive attitude
  • Inventory management and order fulfillment experience is a plus
  • Green industry knowledge (landscape, irrigation, turf, or related markets) preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable with a mix of standing, walking, bending, and occasional warehouse activity

Work Environment:

  • Combination of office/showroom and warehouse setting
  • Moderate noise level with occasional exposure to equipment such as pallet jacks and delivery trucks
