Shift: 7a-3:30p, 3p-11:30p, 7a-7p rotating shifts AND every 3rd weekend
Job Summary: The Unit Secretary/Administrative Assistant I plays a vital role in supporting daily unit operations and serving as a central point of communication for patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team. This position helps ensure a smooth and organized workflow by managing phone calls, coordinating unit activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting clinical staff.

Work Experience
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior administrative, clerical, or healthcare support experience preferred
Knowledge and Skill:
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and team members
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing demands effectively
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) or willingness to learn
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
