The role
As an Inspector IKT2, you ensure that pressure equipment, piping and installations remain safe, reliable and legally compliant. You work in a Seveso (BRZO) environment with complex processes and hazardous substances, where inspections directly support safety and Licence to Operate.
This is a hands-on inspection role with strong visibility in the plant. You work closely with Maintenance, Projects and external inspection parties, and coordinate technically with the Senior Inspector IKT3.
Job Highlights
• Perform and supervise inspections on pressure equipment, piping and tanks
• Coordinate and oversee NDT activities and analyse inspection results
• Prepare and maintain inspection plans
• Translate findings into repair and maintenance actions
• Register and monitor inspection data in SAP
• Support shutdowns, modifications and projects
• Verify compliance with Pressure Equipment legislation (Warenwet, PED, etc.)
• Coordinate with NL CBI and support audits and external inspections
Experience / Skills
- Technical MBO qualification (or equivalent technical vocational education)
- SKK Level 2 Inspector certification (IKT2)
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in engineering, maintenance and/or inspection of pressure equipment, or demonstrably equivalent experience
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- A structured, accurate working style and the confidence to raise risks
Nice to have experience in a Seveso/BRZO environment, NDT knowledge, SAP experience, ambition to grow towards IKT3.
