Job Summary

Do you have strong employee relations experience in a complex environment supporting a large number of employees and leaders?

 

Are you known for being a strategic HR leader who builds strong relationships?

 

Do you have a passion for developing HR solutions to unique and complex challenges?

 

As Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with Reading Hospital, you will play a vital role in the development and growth of our workforce and leaders to meet the hospital’s goals and objectives. 

 

Your Impact:

  • Strategically partnering with leaders on issues and initiatives influencing organizational performance and organizational capability.
  • Advising on workforce planning, team performance, talent management and development, and organizational change. 
  • Advocating for employees and management with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes in alignment with organizational policies while operating within appropriate Federal, State, and local employment laws.
  • Leading and delivering Employee Relations activities to include investigative actions, performance counseling processes, face-to-face counseling, and coaching with employees. 

 

This position is on-site in West Reading, PA.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience as HR Business Partner, Senior HR Business Partner, or HR Director in a complex environment is required; experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Experience providing consultation to all levels of management on HR-related matters such as employee relations, employee and leadership development, and retention.
  • Experience with leadership development, conflict resolution, implementing and navigating employee engagement programs, coaching and team development.
  • Experience facilitating meetings to identify and diagnose issues within team, work processes, and/or leadership, and assisting in the development of solutions.
  • Experience conducting investigations, summarizing findings, and providing recommendations for corrective action.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to earn and maintain credibility and build effective working relationships with all levels of individuals throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues in HR to most effectively address the needs of employees and management.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task in a high sense of urgency environment.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR or related field. A combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
