Clinical Research Nurse
Job Description
The role of the Clinical Research Nurse (CRN):
- Facilitates and coordinates clinical research studies as part of a multidisciplinary team with roles and responsibilities involving regulatory document processing, interactions with sponsors and Contract Research Organizations (CRO) as well as Institutional Review Boards.
- Coordinates and oversees assigned study activities in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Performs study assessments as delegated by the Principal Investigator as well as processes and ships study specimens, dispenses and accounts for investigatory products.
- Maintains study supplies and study file documents.
- Reports to the System Director of Research Operations.

Qualifications
Education Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing - OR - Certification in specialty by recognized accrediting agency - OR - enrolled in RN to BSN or RN to MSN program with minimum 12 credits completed within previous 12 months
Experience
- Prior Oncology Experience Required
- Research Experience Preferred
Certification and Licensure
- BLS Certification
- PA Registered Nurse License
