Position Summary:

Location: 1049 Ridge Road, Rochester, NY, 14615 equipment manufacturing.
Position Responsibilities:
Ability to build Digital Radiography equipment and associated sub-assemblies within quality requirements. Individual follows written “standard work” processes, accurately records data, and provides input / feedback during team discussions. When engaging with team members, this individual works effectively with others. This individual is reliable and complies with all company / departmental policies & regulations. FDA Audits, 5S, compliance. Operates with direct supervisory support.
This position will require carefully unpacking/dis-assembling parts and equipment. Then packing/re-assembly as per work instructions.
Required Skills & Education:
- HS or GED education
- 2+ years of warehouse, retrieving, unpacking and packing with minimal assembly, etc. preferably for equipment
- Experience palletizing, using cranes, hand tools such as prybar and cordless drill are highly preferred.
- Hours are Monday-Friday 6AM to 2:30PM, with occasional overtime when trained.
- Report on time to work, have a strong work ethic, and strong respect for others.
- Attention to detail and follow standard work instructions perfectly.
- Must be able to do the physical requirements as noted below.
- Strong problem-solving skills for carefully packing, unpacking, dis-assembling and re-assembly of parts and equipment.
- Basic PC skills.
- Willingness and ability to work individually or as part of a team.
- Comply with cell phones are not permitted on the manufacturing floor.
