Assemble and secure materials with nails, screws, dowel pins, or glue.
Construct frameworks, subflooring, partitions, millwork, and fixtures.
Install backing, blocking, plywood doors, and other structural components.
Assist Superintendents and General Foremen as needed.
Work varying shifts based on project requirements.
Build, repair, and install structures, frameworks, partitions, and other wood related fixtures using hand and power tools.
Measure, cut, and shape materials.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Plan and execute carpentry projects, including estimating materials, labor, and equipment needs.
Lead small teams or assist in large-scale projects to ensure timely completion.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to design specifications.
Inspect completed work to identify and rectify errors or deficiencies.
Mentor and guide less experienced carpenters, providing hands-on training and support.
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks assigned.
Assist other trades as needed to support department or project goals.
